Airfield Details

Here are the up to date airfield details, if in doubt always call us!

Be aware that there is INTENSIVE activity during daylight hours 7 days a week in the surrounding area. Baxby, Linton, Dishforth, Sutton Bank, Felixkirk, Topcliffe can be active at any time. Non radio, non transponder gliders and microlights are a speciality. Transit traffic comes through the overhead or extended centre line, often!

Airfield Operating Times

Bagby is open from 8:30am until 1900 Mon-Sat 9.30am until 1900 sundays for home based and 9:30am until 7:00pm for visitors. Other times and all movements during winter strictly PPR. 

Flying Training

Flying training and Aerobatic training are available at Bagby

 
Aircraft Rental

A wide variety of aircraft are available; from microlights to state of the art twins.

Airspace around Bagby

Bagby sits in an 'Area of Intense Aerial Activity' So pay attention to the following details, we shall say these only once! Aircraft can come at you from any direction and at any altitude. With due respect to our fellow airspace users, we are in uncontrolled and we mean uncontrolled airspace!

Bagby Airfield Fly-Ins 2010

Bagby Airfield fly-ins for 2010 will take place on Monday 3rd May and Sunday 29th August.

Bagby Airfield WIP

Bagby Airfield  is undergoing a period of continual work in progress. It is advised to obtain a telephone briefing prior to visit and to exercise caution upon arrival.

Thre is now over 450m of Perco plastic matting/concrete on the main runway.

New Airfield Manager

Martin Scott the owner of Bagby 'International.' has appointed Steve Hoyle as manager. All requests for PPR etc should be addressed to him. The contact numbers are above.
